Praise and Prayer Concerns

We are inspired by the story of Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York City. Pastor Jim Cymbala’s Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire and the rest of the series remind us that we must forever be making a place for the Holy Spirit to be at home in our presence. Through prayer, unity in Christ rises to the surface, no matter how diverse a group of followers we may be.

It is said that God can do more through a Body of Christ committed to prayer in six months than we can do alone, striving for sixty years!  When we pray, we get what GOD can do.  When we plan without prayer and ask God to bless what we plan, we're asking for trouble!  His timing is just as essential as His directive, and we are committed at WellSpring to discovering where He is at work and joining Him there.

Our prayer ministry is developing in 2010 through intercessory teams who commit to lifting up our services, our WellSpring leadership, our special events, and all else related to seeking His will and His presence.  Healing and wholeness services are planned, as well, so that we may fully understand what it means to bring every area of our life under His loving Lordship. We want to fully understand what God is doing not just in our midst, but on behalf of His Kingdom all over the world.  Our hearts cry out for our brothers and sisters around the world who are persecuted because they dare to speak the Name of Christ.  We ask that all whom God leads to our website fervently lift up the relief effort in Haiti, with a prayer of provision, protection, and power for the Gospel to have the freedom it needs to bring hope and restoration in such a time of pain.

Nothing of any significance will be accomplished without going before God in prayer. We ask that we not make one step outside of His will, and we trust Him to leave us in perfect peace as we seek His face and venture forth in faith!

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5
