Mission Migori, Kenya

UPDATE: Kenya 2017 is a wrap, as well! Danna and Anna Caroline returned to retrieve a piece of their hearts with Team Leader Wayne Mainor and his wife, Linda. Objectives for our July 11-23, 2017 were dispensing grace and encouragement to the Marindi Academy teachers as well as to seven of the eight planted churches including Marindi Gospel Church. We visited and preached at Kisindi, Ogwedhi, Sigawa, Nyapalo, Pap Ndege, Oruba, as well as conducted a women’s mini-conference at the mother church, Marindi. Pastor Fred kept us busy, but there will be plenty to do for next year’s team. The team returned on June 16th from a successful ministry in Kenya. Here is a short summary of all that they did while serving in Migori, Kenya:
Thursday: Arrival and spent the night in Nairobi, Kenya
Friday: Travel to Migori (approximately 6 hours)
Saturday: Met with local teachers, visiting local people
Sunday: Rev. Beale preached at Marindi Gospel Church, Visiting local people
Monday and Tuesday: VBS at Marindi Grace Academy
Wed. and Thursday: Minister and Leaders Conference in Marindi Gospel Church (6 sessions)
Fri. and Sat.: Minister and Leaders Conference Ogwedhi Church – (6 sessions)
Sun. Rev. Beale preaching in Ogwedhi Church
Mon and Tue. Safari – Masai Mara Animal Preserve
